Meet Lea, the dog lover behind For the Love of Dogs Pet Boutique & Grooming.
It started with the dogs.
For the Love of Dogs Pet Boutique & Grooming is operated by Woof Wardrobe Designs, LLC.
Lea founded the business because she wanted to do more for the animals of South Texas. Learning that local dogs were being moved to shelters out of state inspired her to turn a love of animals into a business with a purpose: helping local shelters, rescues, and foster families.
From a side project to a storefront.
While building the business, Lea also worked in corporate wine and spirits sales. When the pandemic changed that part of her life, she took the opportunity to focus on the work she loved. She connected with a local groomer, and together they worked toward opening a storefront in San Antonio.
A place for our people and their dogs.
For the Love of Dogs brings the boutique and the salon together on Loop 1604. It is a place to find a gift for your favorite dog person, something for your pup, or a fresh groom, and to feel part of the neighborhood.
The shop grew from Lea’s belief that supporting a small business can also support a community. That love of dogs is still the thread running through it all. Same shop. Same pack.
